Due to the persistent heavy rain throughout the day on Sunday 25 October, Children’s Week Picnic in 2026 was cancelled. We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
Children’s Week Picnic is one of the most loved events on Wyndham’s calendar, so this was a heartbreaking decision, however, the safety and enjoyment of our community is always the most important factor in making these difficult decisions.
While there are currently no confirmed plans to reschedule the event, Wyndham City will explore options, and residents can stay up to date via Wyndham City's website and social media channels.
In 2027 Children’s Week Picnic will be held on Sunday 17 October at Werribee Park.
