Our aim is to promote friendship by encouraging an interest in patchwork, quilting and other crafts. We also support local organisations by donating quilts and other items and by fundraising.
We meet every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at the Manor Lakes Community Centre to sew and chat, swap ideas and learn new skills.
We welcome new members from ages 12 and upwards and from all cultural backgrounds. Each year in November we hold a charity auction where items donated by members are auctioned to raise funds for local community groups. Members also have the opportunity to attend workshops run by well-known and respected textile artists, and can have a weekend away by attending the annual sewing Retreat.
