Come and see four of the best community bands the west has to offer. The Western Bands Festival is an annual event hosted for Concert and Brass bands in the West of Melbourne. It brings together community bands in a friendly environment, allowing them to showcase their music to the public and then have the opportunity to work with expert clinicians.

Werribee Concert Band:
The Werribee Concert Band is a not-for-profit volunteer organisation that exists to create music for and by local residents. Playing in a relaxed and friendly environment, players of all ages and abilities are catered for.

Westgate Concert Band:
Westgate Concert Band was established in 1979 and aims to provide members with a positive, nurturing place to advance their musical skills, and to deliver exciting musical experiences that delight our community.

Sunshine Community Brass:
Sunshine Community Brass is a C grade Brass Band, established in 1928, originally formed by the workers of the Sunshine Harvester Company. Sunshine Community Brass welcome all brass and percussion players of all abilities to join.

Melton Concert Band:
Melton Concert Band (Greater Western Community Band) is community run with members from all over the western and inner Melbourne suburbs, catering to all ages and levels of experience.
