I invite you to a hands-on, make and take Bonsai class, at my home in Werribee.

This wonderful ancient art of miniaturising trees is one of life's great pleasures. I have many years of experience in creating Bonsai. Since having returned to creating them again, I had forgotten what a joy is to do and the great mental health benefits you get from this craft. It has you completely immersed in what you are doing and takes you away from the humdrum of this fast-paced life many live today.

The bonus is that for many that don't have room for a garden as such, this is a fantastic way to bring nature back into your life. These miniature trees and shrubs are just something else. You can bring them inside for a time as a table piece or decoration to boast about to friends and family. Then there is the self-satisfaction they give the creator. If you have never had much to do with them, you are certainly in for a treat.

In this workshop, you will learn how to create your very own bonsai to take home and nurture, I will guide you through all of the steps, so that you will be able to take this knowledge and use it again to add to your collection.

All you need is supplied, it is undercover with a outdoor heater so no need to worry about the weather, but it is winter so ensure you are rugged up. I will also show you my own Bonsai collection, some are for sale as well as pots you can purchase on the day if you want to start another for yourself down the track.
