Building entry

The library can be entered via ramp, and level floor throughout interior.

  • From car part to after hours chute, either ramp or 5 steps. 17cm high, 32cm deep
  • Five steps with rail from foyer to main library floor. 16cm high 32cm deep
  • Automatic doors at entry points, ramps to avoid stairs.

Group Study Room Booking conditions:

Bookings are for a maximum of 2 hours per group, per day. Bookings may only be made up to 7 days in advance. You can only make 2 concurrent booking requests at any one time. This is to avoid blanket bookings which would disadvantage other community members.

You must have a current library membership in order to request a booking.

All bookings have a 15-minute grace period. If a customer does not arrive within 15 minutes of the beginning of their booked time, the booking may be cancelled.

Library staff will always aim to satisfy booking requests. However the library reserves the right to alter or cancel booking requests in line with changing operational requirements.
