Work is now underway on a major redevelopment of the Wyndham Vale North Reserve pavilion that will improve the match-day experience for players and spectators and provide a new home for the Wyndham Vale Men’s Shed.
This $4.1 million Wyndham City project will replace the existing pavilion with a brand-new modular pavilion featuring four gender inclusive changerooms, referee changerooms, a social space and kitchen, first aid room, public toilets, internal spectator amenities and storage spaces.
It will also provide a new home for the Wyndham Vale Men’s Shed.
Wyndham City Mayor, Councillor Mia Shaw, said the pavilion redevelopment was an exciting next step in the ongoing transformation of Wyndham Vale North Reserve.
“We’re continuing to invest in Wyndham Vale North Reserve to make sure it keeps pace with the needs of our growing community,” Cr Shaw said.
“This new pavilion will provide a modern, welcoming and inclusive space for local sporting clubs, players, families and spectators to enjoy.”
“It’s also fantastic that the project will provide a new home for the Wyndham Vale Men’s Shed, giving this much-loved local group a dedicated space to come together.”
The pavilion redevelopment builds on a range of improvements recently delivered at Wyndham Vale North Reserve, including brand-new sportsground lighting, a three-lane cricket net enclosure and renewed sportsground irrigation.
