Join the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra’s Holiday Music Activities, bringing the joy of music to Wyndham libraries.

Children will have the opportunity to participate in sessions that introduce them to instruments and allow them to respond 
creatively to music.

Sessions are at various times throughout the day (see details below). To allow as many children from the community to attend, we ask that you only come to one session. No prior musical experience is necessary to participate. 

Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/carer when using the library and attending library 
programs.

Spaces are limited. Bookings required and open 9am on the day.
Please note that if you do not arrive within 10 minutes of the start time, your booking may be cancelled. 

Your personal information is being collected by Council to administer your registration to participate in this event. Council uses an event booking platform provided by a third party known as ‘EventBrite’. Any personal information you submit when registering will be stored and processed by EventBrite in accordance with its Privacy Policy. EventBrite is a USA based organisation and it is important to note that your data will be held in US servers located outside of Australia. Your personal information will also be stored in Council’s database and used to identify you when communicating with Council and for the delivery of services and information. Make Your Own Instrument:
10am - 10.50am 
Ages 5-12
Create your own percussion instrument.

Listen and Create:
11.10am - 12pm 
Ages 5-12
Melbourne Chamber Orchestra musicians will perform live, while children create artwork inspired by the music. 
All materials supplied by us.

Instrument Meet & Greet:
1pm - 1.25pm with a repeat session from 1.25pm - 1.50pm depending on demand
Ages 5-12
See, hear, touch and try a variety of string instruments.

Musical Story Time:
2.10pm - 3pm
Ages 3-12
Enjoy an interactive performance as musicians bring Wurrtoo: The Wombat Who Fell in Love with the Sky by Tylissa Elisara to life through music and storytelling.
