Join the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra’s Holiday Music Activities, bringing the joy of music to Wyndham libraries.

Children will have the opportunity to participate in sessions that introduce them to instruments and allow them to respond 
creatively to music.

Sessions are at various times throughout the day (see details below). To allow as many children from the community to attend, we ask that you only come to one session. Spaces are limited with free tickets available from the library 30mins prior to the start of each session. 

No prior musical experience is necessary to participate. 

Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/carer when using the library and attending library programs.

Make Your Own Instrument:
10am - 10.50am

Ages 5-12
Create your own percussion instrument. 
All materials supplied by us.

Listen and Create:
11.10am - 12pm 
Free tickets available from 10.40am
Ages 5-12
Melbourne Chamber Orchestra musicians will perform live, while children create artwork inspired by the music.

Instrument Meet & Greet:
1pm - 1.25pm with a repeat session from 1.25pm - 1.50pm depending on demand

Musical Story Time:
