Technology and communication pioneer, Gihan Perera, will launch the annual Wyndham Learning Festival in August.

This year, the Wyndham Learning Festival is future focused with the theme Lifelong Learning for a Thriving Future, exploring how learning helps individuals and communities adapt, grow and thrive in a changing world. 

Gihan Perera, brings this theme alive discussing AI and its impact on the future of work and life at the official launch of the Festival, on 14 August at Wyndham Cultural Centre, Werribee. 

Carrying the theme further, a ‘Learning for Business Conference’ will be held on 4 September at Central Park Community Centre, Hoppers Crossing, bringing together local businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals.  

The festival program of activities will have something for people of all ages and abilities, exploring a broad range of interests such as arts, craft, dance, wellness, personal development, technology, cultural activities and business learning. 

The Wyndham Learning Festival is led by Wyndham Community & Education Centre and supported by Wyndham City.
