Join author, educator, broadcaster and community advocate Deborah Sugirthakumar as she discusses her book Raising Resilient Families. Listen to practical ideas, real-life examples and empowering messages about building emotional resilience in children and families. This event is aimed at parents and carers and is for ages 18+. 

This event will be held at Hoppers Crossing Library and livestreamed online. More information about bookings and how to join the livestream will be provided closer to the date.

Raising Resilient Families was published in 2024 and has been recognised internationally, receiving the International Impact Award and Able Book Award. 

Deborah Sugirthakumar is an educator by profession, author, broadcaster, and community advocate with a strong focus on mental health, family wellbeing, and positive development in children. She is also the host of the radio show Mindful Moments, where she creates conversations that empower individuals and families to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and awareness.
