Exciting news – work on the next stage of improvements planned for Warringa Crescent Reserve in Hoppers Crossing is about to begin!
Construction will commence in the coming weeks on a brand-new picnic area and shelter, additional bench seating, more trees and garden beds, realigned footpaths for easier movement through the reserve, and a new drinking fountain with a dog bowl.
This will complement the stage one enhancement works that were completed last year to transform the area around the car park into a greener, safer space with new garden beds and tree planting, clearer signage and refreshed line marking to improve both safety and accessibility.
These works are part of a broader vision outlined in the Woodville Place Plan, adopted by Council in 2024.
The plan focuses on creating stronger links between key local destinations – in this case, improving the connection between Warringa Crescent Reserve and Woodville Park Shopping Centre, enhancing car park safety, and lifting the overall look and feel of the reserve.
Small changes can make a big difference, and these improvements will make Warringa Crescent Reserve an even more welcoming place to relax, connect and enjoy the outdoors.
