Wyndham City proudly celebrates and thanks all the wonderful volunteers in our City on International Volunteer Day, 5 December 2025.
International Volunteer Day is mandated by the UN General Assembly and is celebrated around the world on 5 December each year. The day recognises the outstanding contribution that volunteers make in their communities.
The day aims to raise awareness of the important role volunteers play in addressing the world’s challenges and highlights the power of volunteering to strengthen communities and create positive change.
This year’s International Volunteer Day theme is ‘Every Contribution Matters’ and marks the important contribution each and every volunteer makes in Wyndham.
This year’s theme reminds us that volunteering is not just about giving it’s about fostering connections and building a stronger, more inclusive society.
Volunteers make a significant and profound contribution to Wyndham.
