Wyndham’s Seniors Exercise Park is gearing up again in 2026 with trained volunteer buddies ready to help seniors get active and guide and show older residents how to use the exercise equipment and make the most of being active.
Wyndham City has a wonderful team of volunteers who deliver the sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 10.45am (except first Monday of the month).
The Central Park Seniors Exercise Park, located at 80 Lonsdale Circuit, Hoppers Crossing is free to access and open 7 days a week during daylight hours and has a range of fit for purpose equipment for seniors to exercise with others and make new friends.
It is a great opportunity for seniors to get out and about and learn how to use the exercise equipment and improve their health and fitness and connect with others.
Wyndham’s volunteer buddies support and motivate older residents and show them how to use the equipment. They aim to create small groups who regularly meet, exercise and socialise together.
The equipment has been designed to help seniors within the community to maintain their strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.
The Central Park Seniors Exercise Park was built in partnership with the National Ageing Research Institute (NARI) and Wyndham City and funded through Gandel Philanthropy.
