Kim McAliney has been elected as Heathdale Ward Councillor for Wyndham City Council. 

The Heathdale Ward by-election was triggered by the resignation of Cr Jennie Barrera. 

Kim McAliney is a former two-time Mayor, previously serving on Wyndham City Council from 2005 to 2012 and from 2016 to June 2020. 

Wyndham City Mayor Cr Mia Shaw said: “I congratulate Kim McAliney on being elected Heathdale Ward Councillor.” 

“Kim brings a strong skill set and previous experience to Council.” 

“I look forward to working with Kim and my fellow Councillors to deliver meaningful outcomes for Wyndham residents and improving the liveability of our municipality.”  

“As a Council we have important work to do, in the lead up to the upcoming State election to advocate Council’s priorities to ensure Wyndham gets its fair share,” said Cr Shaw
