Residents are invited to share their feedback on the Draft Wyndham Disability Plan 2026 – 2029 to assist in making Wyndham more inclusive and accessible, enabling positive outcomes for people living with disability.
The Draft Wyndham Disability Plan 2026 – 2029 was developed with community feedback over the past 12 months, it was shaped by those living with disability, carers and stakeholders that provide services and support.
The new Plan aims to build on past achievements, and it will reaffirm Wyndham City Council commitment to creating a city where everyone feels that they belong.
Four strategic directions will shape Wyndham City’s approach; this includes having a focus on:
Health, Safety and Wellbeing – mental health, health, protection from abuse and more
Inclusive access – accessible information, infrastructure, facilities and built environment, transport and mobility
Housing, Education and Employment – accessible housing, employment, education of early years and lifelong learning
Empowering Community Recognition – leadership, recognition and more.
