It’s official – Manor Lakes’s newest active open space, Holyoake Parade Reserve, is now open!
Stage one of this $9.5 million Wyndham City project was officially opened at a community event earlier today by Mayor Josh Gilligan and Werribee MP John Lister, delivering first-class sport and recreational facilities to our growing community.
Located on Holyoake Parade in Manor Lakes, the reserve is packed with first-class facilities for the growing community, including an oval with a cricket pitch overlay, cricket nets, six tennis courts and a multi-use court.
There’s also a brand-new pavilion with a social room, change rooms, storerooms and a kiosk to support sport, recreation, and community activities.
Other features include a car park, playground, footpath network, shelter, BBQ and picnic areas, landscaped green spaces, and outdoor exercise equipment.
Wyndham City Mayor, Councillor Josh Gilligan, said Holyoake Parade Reserve had been especially designed to meet the needs of our growing community for years to come.
“From the cricket nets to the playground and tennis courts, there’s something for everyone,” Cr Gilligan said.
This project has been supported by a $1,291,350 Growing Suburbs Fund grant and a $40,000 Cricket Victoria grant.
