LIT 2026 The Cassowaries by A Blanck Canvas

Cassowaries (Bottom Left).

Larger than life and ready to run! The Cassowaries hum with energy and glow with intent.

Bold. Curious. Unmissable. The Cassowaries are watching…

Cassowaries are known for their unique and distinctive appearance, but one of the most intriguing features is the helmet-like casque on top of their heads. The casque is a tough, bony structure covered with a keratinous skin, and its purpose is not entirely clear.

The Southern Cassowary is classified as “vulnerable”, and the Northern Cassowary is “endangered” due to habitat destruction and fragmentation. Rainforest Rescue is a non-profit organisation that protects and restores rainforests, preserving biodiversity since 1999.
