By submitting an expression of interest (‘EOI’) to participate in The Green Room Project Emerging (‘program’), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions

These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with other documents and information relating to the program, including your EOI form and the information made available on Council’s website

Submission of an EOI does not confirm your participation in the program. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application using the contact details provided in their EOI form.

1. ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to submit an EOI, you must be aged 18 years or over and live, work, or have a connection to Wyndham. Councillors, Council staff, and their immediate family members are ineligible to apply

2. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

2.1. EOIs must be submitted between 9:00am on Friday 6 March 2026 and 5:00pm on Monday 23rd March 2026 via Wyndham City’s website. EOIs that are incomplete or received outside of this period will not be accepted

2.2. You agree to immediately notify Council of any changes to your EOI, including the request to withdraw your EOI by CreativeProgramming@wyndham.vic.gov.au

2.3. Council accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, invalid, or corrupt EOIs

3. ASSESSMENT OF EXPRESSIONS OF INTERESTS

3.1. EOIs will be assessed by two Council officers and a representative of Melbourne Writers Theatre by Monday 30 March in accordance with the program evaluation criteria. Up to 6 applicants will be selected to participate in the program

3.2. All applicants will be contacted by email no later than 5:00pm on Wednesday 1 April 2026 and advised of the outcome of their application

4. PROGRAM PARTICIPATION

Program participants must be able to participate in the program in its entirety by attending all in-person program sessions between Saturday 18 April 2026 and Saturday 30 May 2026 and write a script to be read by actors at the showcase on Friday 19 June 2026. Participants acknowledge that the locations for in person sessions and the showcase will be at Hoppers Crossing Library and Wyndham Cultural Centre Theatre

5. LIABILITY

5.1. Participants participate in the program entirely at their own risk

5.2. To the extent permitted by law, Council is not liable to any participant for any loss, damage, claim or expense suffered, including but not limited to property loss or damage or personal injury or death, as a result of or in connection with their participation in the program, except to the extent that any such loss is caused or contributed to by the negligent act or omission of Council

6. WITHDRAWAL OR CANCELLATION

6.1 If you need to withdraw from the program at any time, please do so by notifying Council by email to CreativeProgramming@wyndham.vic.gov.au. Withdrawals should ideally be made before Workshop #1, so that another applicant can be offered the place

6.2. Council reserves the right to end your participation in the program where Council reasonably believes that you have:

(a) breached these terms and conditions; or

(b) submitted false, inaccurate or misleading information in your EOI form or otherwise

6.3. Notwithstanding any other provision of these terms and conditions, and regardless of whether your participation in the program has been confirmed by Council, Council expressly reserves the right to cancel, change or modify the program or these terms and conditions at any time

7. NO RELATIONSHIP

Nothing in these terms and conditions or in the conduct between an applicant and Council creates a relationship of agency, partnership, employer and employee or joint venture between the applicant and Council.
