Drainage Design Submissions

This form is for submitting drainage designs to Council’s Stormwater Engineering Team, required by a planning permit condition. If you're unsure whether a submission is necessary, please contact Council's Stormwater Engineering team at 1300 023 411 or email planningdrain.submission@wyndham.vic.gov.au 

Please note that from the 1 July 2025 there will be a fee associated with the assessment of Drainage Designs as per the Schedule of Fees & Charges 2025-2026.

The Stormwater Engineering Team cannot assess any drainage design plans unless the following documents are ready to be provided:

  1. Endorsed Development Plan
  2. Legal Point of Discharge document obtained from Permit & Consents Team. It is highly recommended to consult the Stormwater Engineering Team for the PSD before commencing the drainage design.
  3. Endorsed/Stamped Sustainable Design Assessment (SDA) or Environmentally Sensitive Design (ESD) report (if applicable) from the Planning Team.

The drainage system must be designed accordingly to the Wyndham City Councils Drainage Design Guideline.

Please be advised that Wyndham City Council aims to respond to accepted submissions within 20 business days.
