Werribee Bears Rugby League Sports Club is a not for profit Sports Incorporated club founded in November 2008, with the intention of being a community, family orientated sports group. We draw our membership from within the community of the Wyndham.

In our inaugural 2009 season we had a senior men and senior women team participating in the Victoria Rugby League (VRL) Competition, as well as an Under 7’s and an Under 9’s junior teams. We have had great success with all our teams in the 2009 season with our senior men winning the VRL 2nd Division Premiership, with our senior women finishing 3rd overall at the end of their season. A great achievement for a club being a part of the VRL in its first year.
