MaDe to Shine

MaDe to Shine was born out of two names and one shared purpose.
Founded in 2021 by a husband and wife team, Mark and Deborah Dickinson, MaDe to Shine began during the challenging times of COVID, when priorities shifted and people realised what mattered most to them, health, family, rest, and moments of connection. Our name carries our story: ‘Ma’ from Mark, ‘De’ from Deborah, and ‘to Shine’ for the feeling we leave behind, your home your way.

What started as a way to keep our income going during COVID soon revealed a deeper purpose. We discovered that MaDe to Shine wasn’t just about helping people with their homes, it was about giving them back their time, energy, and peace of mind. It became a way for us to truly give back, by supporting those who needed help the most and allowing them to focus on what really mattered in their lives.

Today, MaDe to Shine supports many clients, from private homes, end-of-lease cleans to disability subsidised services. Whether it’s helping someone with daily living, assisting during life’s busy seasons, or supporting those with specific needs through NDIS or WorkSafe, we’re here for those who genuinely need a helping hand. Our clients aren’t just looking for cleaning, they are looking for relief. For space to focus on their health, spend time with loved ones, take that holiday, or simply breathe easier knowing it’s all taken care of.

Managed by Mark Dickinson, MaDe to Shine is driven by care, trust, and excellence. Our vision is to grow in two ways: to extend our services to more individuals and organisations who need us, and to create meaningful work opportunities for people who want to support their own families.
