The Contracts Approval Committee was established by Council on 25 March 2025 as a delegated committee under Section 63 of the Local Government Act 2020.
The Committee decides on Council contracts over the value of the Chief Executive Officer’s delegation (currently at $2,500,000 excl. GST) that form part of the Council budget, thereby expediting the contract approval process.
The Committee meets on a fortnightly basis as required, or as agreed by the Committee from time to time.
Agendas for each meeting are generally available on Council’s website by 5pm on the Friday prior to the meeting date.
Meeting Minutes are generally available on Council’s website by 5pm on the Friday of the week of the meeting date.
