The implementation of the Truganina SE Community Precinct Master Plan will provide the local community with access to a wide range of community, sport and recreation services and infrastructure in a safe, welcoming, and sustainable environment across several settings. When fully implemented the Truganina SE Community Precinct will accommodate:
An Integrated Family Centre with:
- Early Years Education Services
- Maternal & Child Health Services
- Flexible small and large format community meeting spaces
- Integrated office space for services
- Consulting rooms for MCH and other services
Active Open Space with supporting and ancillary infrastructure including:
- Sports Pavilion with change rooms, social rooms and kiosk
- Soccer Fields & Overlaying Cricket Oval
- Tennis Courts
Non-Programmed and informal open space including:
- BBQ & Picnic Area
- Children’s Playgrounds
- Walking paths
- Landscaping and planting
The construction works are well underway and have been made possible with the support of the Victorian Government.
The Integrated Family Centre is expected to be completed in February 2022.
The Active Open Space reserve is expected to be complete in May 2022.
