The three suburbs with the highest number of dwellings/units in August 2025 are:

1. Tarneit (163)
2. Werribee (49)
3. Wyndham Vale (34)

The North region of Wyndham (Tarneit, Truganina, Williams Landing, Laverton and Mount Cottrell) had the highest number of dwellings/units in August 2025 (188).

The monthly dwellings and unit approvals are reported on a monthly basis and are reflective of currently available data to August 2025.

Building permits for 4,295 dwellings and 94 units in Wyndham were issued between June 2024 and July 2025, as shown in the attached table and graphs.

The units are in:

• Truganina (35)
• Hoppers Crossing (5)
• Werribee (14)
• Wyndham Vale (20)

The June to July 24/25 financial year distribution of dwellings/units between Wyndham’s suburbs is summarised in the table below:
