Wyndham City is proud to announce Taysha Farrugia as the One Wyndham recipient for December.
Taysha Farrugia is a talented young artist whose passion for music, acting, and performance inspires young people to believe in themselves and pursue their passions with confidence.
Taysha is a positive role model and leads by example showcasing creativity and artistic expression. With a growing fan base, including more than 150,000 streams on Spotify and number 1 on @Abreak American Indie Charts she is captivating audiences worldwide through her live performances that inspire and connect.
Taysha encourages inclusion through her music, performances and community involvement including: 2024 and 2025 Christmas by the Lakes, 2025 Wyndham Business Awards, performances at Hopheads Point Cook, Laverton Festival, Point Cook Town Centre Pop Up entertainment and performing at the 2024 and 2025 Rotary Club of Werribee Women’s mental health events.
Wyndham City Mayor, Cr Josh Gilligan, said “Taysha’s passion and creativity is inspiring and encourages other young people to think big and follow their dreams.”

One Wyndham recipients are residents aged between 12 to 25 who positively contribute to the Wyndham community and are role models to other young people.
Each month Council selects a Wyndham resident to be awarded the ‘Young Person of the Month’.
Winners are awarded a $300 gift voucher of their choice and other prizes.
