Wyndham City is proud to announce Bradley Khoo as the One Wyndham recipient for July.

Bradley is passionate about volunteering and takes a lead role both at school and within the community.

Bradley actively participates in the Country Fire Victoria (CFA) Junior Brigade: building emergency response skills and participating in CFA drills and plays a lead role contributing to fundraising and fire prevention education awareness campaigns. He is positive leader that supports his peers and looks out for others.

At school, Bradley is a diligent student and is actively involved in the school community. He is a member of the SRC, School Representative Council and an Arts Ambassador. These roles involve presenting and Master of Ceremonies at school assemblies, organise events like Arts Week and leading a STEM project protecting local wildlife. 

As a member of Interact Club committee, he coordinates fundraising for local charities, National Disability Week and also leads sustainability projects. Bradley models the motto "service above self" through his actions organising fundraising for local and global causes.

Bradley’s motivation comes from wanting to contribute positively to the Wyndham community. He works towards creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels they belong and can genuinely contribute in the community. 

Wyndham City’s Deputy Mayor Cr Jasmine Hill, said “Wyndham City appreciates Bradley’s contribution to the Wyndham community through his dedication and volunteering efforts.”  

“Bradley is a positive role model for young people in our city.” said Cr Hill.

One Wyndham recipients are residents aged between 12 to 25 who positively contribute to the Wyndham community and are role models to other young people.

Each month Council selects a Wyndham resident to be awarded the ‘Young Person of the Month’.

Winners are awarded a $300 gift voucher of their choice and other prizes.
