These terms and conditions apply to submissions made to the Kids What to Read webpage on Council’s website.

1. By submitting your child’s book review, you:
   
   a) confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child whose book review you are submitting; and
   
   b) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    
2. Submissions must be your child’s own work and must not contain any objectionable, profane, offensive, insulting, inflammatory or defamatory material, or infringe a third party’s intellectual property rights.
    
3. You consent to Council publishing your child’s submission (in whole or in part) on the Kids What to Read page and the More Reviews page.  You acknowledge that Council may edit or amend your child’s review prior to publication.
    
4. You acknowledge and agree that your child’s first name as provided in your submission form will be published in connection with their submission.
    
5. You acknowledge that upon publication of your child’s submission online, it will become capable of being shared, saved, downloaded or otherwise distributed by the public.  You agree that Council accepts no responsibility or liability for the way that members of the public use, share, save, download or otherwise distribute your child’s submission once it has been published online.
    
6. Council may, acting in its entire discretion, determine not to publish your child’s submission, or may remove from its website any published submissions.
    
7. You may request removal of your child’s submission from Council’s at any time by emailing childrenslibraryprograms@wyndham.vic.gov.au.
    
8. You must indemnify and hold harmless Council, its councillors and employees against all claims arising in connection with a breach or potential breach of these terms and conditions.
    
9. Council reserves the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time.
