Truganina will grow from 35,000 residents in the 2021 census to an estimated 56,000 by 2046. Many existing Truganina residents often commute to the city for work, study and recreational activities.
Tarneit Railway Station is currently the only station on the northern side of Wyndham. As a result, the station is over- crowded and suffers from congestion in the car park and nearby roads.
Truganina Railway Station will ease the pressure on Tarneit Railway Station and the new West Tarneit Railway Station and surrounding roads.
At this election, we need a commitment to deliver the Truganina Railway Station.
