We’re transforming Duncans Road (Watton Street to Synnot Street) into a safer, greener, more vibrant gateway to Werribee’s City Centre.
This exciting upgrade marks the first major delivery under the Rediscover Werribee City Centre program – a multi-year strategy to revitalise the heart of Werribee and transform it into a vibrant, accessible and future-ready destination in line with the Werribee City Centre Streetscape Upgrades project and adopted Werribee City Centre Plan.
Work starts early 2026 and will be carefully staged to minimise disruption and maintain pedestrian access to local businesses.
This project will involve partial closures of Duncans Road during construction, with traffic management in place and one lane to remain open at all times to ensure continued access to and from the Werribee City Centre.
We appreciate your patience while we carry out this important project.
