Step 1: Book a pre-commencement meeting
Before you book your pre-commencement meeting, you will need to make sure:
- all bonds have been paid
- power and water, and certificates of compliance have been submitted
- all other relevant documentation has been submitted.

Step 2: Book your practical completion inspection
Once you have finished any works, you will need to book a practical completion inspection.

Maintenance inspections
You need to have 7 maintenance inspections for each estate stage during the two-year maintenance period.
These inspections should happen every three months from the beginning of the maintenance period. Your final inspection should happen three months before the proposed handover date.
Once you have completed your practical completion inspection, we will send you more information about your maintenance inspections.
If you do not complete the inspections, the maintenance period may be extended.

Once you have completed all other inspections, you will need to book an asset handover inspection.
