Werribee City Centre pedestrian crossings

Getting around Werribee City Centre is now easier and safer, with construction on three new and upgraded pedestrian crossings now complete.

Delivered as part of our Rediscover Werribee City Centre program and funded through the Victorian Government’s Safe Local Roads and Streets Program, these works have delivered:

  • A new pedestrian crossing on Watton Street (between Wedge and Werribee Streets)
  • Upgrades to the existing Watton Street crossing (between Duncans Rd and Cherry St)
  • A new pedestrian crossing at Comben Drive, Wyndham Park entrance

*New flashing lights at the upgraded Watton Street crossings will be installed and activated by Powercor in the second half of 2026.

Benefits:

  • Improve road safety for all users
  • Calm on-road traffic through the Werribee City Centre
  • Enhance accessibility around the Werribee City Centre
