Applying for pre-application advice will:
- identify key planning or design issues early
- help you understand the planning permit process and the requirements of the Wyndham Planning Scheme
- confirm what information you will need for your application
- improve the quality and completeness of your application.
How to apply for pre-application advice
To apply for pre-application advice, you will need to provide:
- a certificate of title and any associated covenants or restrictions (no more than three months old)
- plans or photographs of the existing condition of the land or property
- site context plan
- concept elevation plans
- concept floor plan
- a Neighbourhood Character Statement (if your proposal is for 5 or more lots or dwellings).

Once we have received your request, we will complete a thorough review of your plans and provide feedback. We will be in touch within 10 business days to discuss your proposal.
