An occupancy permit is a document that says your building surveyor is satisfied that all the work on your building permit is complete, and your building is suitable to be occupied.
You will need to have an occupancy permit before your building can be occupied.
How to apply for an occupancy permit if your building surveyor is Wyndham Building Permits
You will need to fill in the form with:
- your contact details
- details of the property
- details of any building practitioners or architects who were engaged in the building work
- compliance certificates for plumbing and electrical work.
Email your completed form and any relevant documents to mail@wyndham.vic.gov.au.
Your occupancy permit will be issued once your application is complete and your building has passed its final inspection.
