Work is set to kick off on the next exciting chapter of the Rosslare Court Reserve transformation, with Wyndham City awarding the construction contract to bring a fresh wave of open space improvements to life.
From next month, crews will begin creating a vibrant new large open lawn area, a half multi-sport court, outdoor fitness equipment and enhanced landscaping – all designed to make the reserve more active, welcoming and versatile for the whole community.
This $450,000 upgrade will complement the district-level play space, picnic areas, public toilet and on-street car parking improvements completed in 2024 to give our community more opportunities to play, connect and unwind.
Meanwhile, planning continues on a new wetland that will help naturally filter water before it flows into Skeleton Creek, boosting the reserve’s environmental benefits.
This upgrade is part of Council's ongoing plan to address ageing infrastructure within several Wyndham reserves, as detailed in the Play Space Strategy and Open Space Strategy, with stage two works expected to be completed in mid-2026.
