There are two types of kindergartens in Wyndham :
- Kindergarten in Childcare Centres
- Offered by community organisations and private childcare services.
- Provides full-day education and care.
- Kindergarten hours are free but extra fees apply, and costs vary between centres.
- Contact the centre directly for fee information and enrolment by using the Victorian Government’s ‘Find a Kinder Program’ tool.
- Sessional Kindergarten
- There are 44 sessional kinders in Wyndham, managed by Council and Early Years organisations.
- They offer free kinder hours on set days and times during the school term
- Council manages Central Registration and Allocations.

How to view kindergarten and timetable information:
- Select your program type and year from the dropdown menu.
- Enter your home address or suburb to drop pin your location, displayed by a blue home icon.
- If you prefer specific days, untick the days of the week you do not want to see timetable information for.
- Use the + sign to zoom in to your home location to easily navigate between kindergartens which are displayed by green pins.

Pre-Prep Kindergarten
At participating kindergarten services within Wyndham City Council’s Central Registration & Enrolment Scheme, eligible children will be able to access up to 22.5 hours a week in 2026.

Option 1: Virtual tours - available all year
Virtual tours let you see each centre’s rooms and outdoor spaces anytime.

Option 2: Open Days – held each year in March and May
Open Days are a great chance to visit kindergartens in person, meet educators and other families, and get support with registration.

- Saturday 2 May 2026, 9.30am–12.30pm
