Notice Of Minor Boundary Change
In accordance with section 238(2)(c) of the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act), Wyndham City Council (“Council”) gives notice of a proposed change to its municipal boundary.
If made, the change will result in the reduction of approximately 421.5 hectares of land from Council’s municipal district, and the addition of the area to the municipal district of Melton City Council.
The proposed change is depicted below:
The reason for the change is to align all of the Eynesbury township to Melton City Council.
Council will be supporting Melton City Council’s application to the Minister for Local Government to effect the proposed change by recommending that an Order in Council be made under section 235(a) of the Act.

Annual Community Satisfaction Survey 2025/26
Wyndham City has engaged Metropolis Research to conduct its Annual Community Satisfaction Survey beginning 1 November 2025 through to 8 December 2025 and recommencing 10 January 2026 to 8 February 2026. This will be a door-to-door survey conducted in person.
All local governments in Victoria are required to conduct an Annual Community Satisfaction Survey to help understand community needs and to measure satisfaction with a range of Council services. This information informs Council’s planning, service delivery and policy development.
Metropolis Research staff will conduct the in-person surveys in an interviews style with randomly selected households across Wyndham. The survey methodology ensures respondents reflect the diverse Wyndham community.
Surveys will take place on weekends and weekdays during daylight hours and are expected to take approximately 15 minutes. Metropolis Research staff will first provide residents identification authorising them to undertake the survey on behalf of Council and a letter of authorisation from Council.
The information residents provide will be kept confidential and will not be used for any other purpose. Thank you for your participation in the survey.
