Wyndham City has opened applications for the 2026 Wyndham Pitch Competition, inviting Wyndham based entrepreneurs, startups, students and community innovators to put forward their big ideas to help shape Wyndham’s future.
The Pitch Competition provides a local platform for early-stage entrepreneurs, innovators, startups and creative thinkers to refine their concepts, receive expert-led training, connect with industry leaders and be in the running to win a share of $10,000.
The Competition forms part of the WYNnovation Business Expo on 7 May 2026, which celebrates the theme “The Future is Local,” bringing together businesses, leaders and innovators from across the region to think globally and act locally.
The Pitch Competition and WYNnovation Business Expo reflects Wyndham City’s commitment to fostering, enabling and investing in Wyndham’s local businesses and its entrepreneurial ecosystem.
We are a city of more than 38,000 GST registered businesses, and a fast growing population of 337,000 people. With growth comes challenges and opportunities. We’re calling for big ideas with local impact. Have you got an idea that could shape Wyndham’s future? Dream it – dare it and Do It!
If you are ready to be seen, ready to expand or just getting started this is your call to action.
Participants are encouraged to submit innovative business ideas or solutions that have the potential to create positive impact in Wyndham. With applications closing on 30 March 2026.
Shortlisted entrants will gain access to exclusive development opportunities, including Kickoff event and a Masterclass Series (x3), a Networking and Open Pitch Night, potential 1:1 mentor sessions and Spark Business and Innovation Hub membership for selected finalists.
Five finalists will be selected to present their big idea on the main stage at the WYNnovation Pitch Grand Finale on Thursday 7 May 2026, competing for a prize pool valued at over $10,000.
