Work to begin on new Citybay Drive Reserve dog off-leash park

Here’s some paw-tastic news: we’ve awarded the construction contract for the new Citybay Drive Reserve dog off-leash park, with construction to commence in the coming weeks.

Located along Edge View in Point Cook, the space will feature a large open lawn area for play, agility equipment to keep your canine in top form and secure high fencing with a double-gate entry.

Other features include a drinking fountain with an attached dog bowl, dog bag dispensers, bench seating and landscaping to create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners.

Wyndham City’s Cheetham Ward Councillor, Councillor Susan McIntyre, said once complete, the new space would provide Saltwater Coast with a much-need off-leash dog park.

“This interactive new space will be a great addition to Citybay Drive Reserve and gives Point Cook dog owners more choice when taking their beloved canines out to play,” Cr McIntyre said.

“The Citybay Drive Reserve dog off-leash park will be packed with features that will have your furry friends wagging their tails with joy.”

“It also adds to our growing network of dog off-leash spaces across Wyndham, with Wyndham City opening new dog off-leash parks at Williams Landing Boulevard Reserve and Alcock Road Reserve in Truganina in 2025.”

This exciting addition aligns with the Wyndham Dog Off-Leash Plan 2022 and Wyndham’s Open Space Strategy 2045, dedicated to providing accessible and well-connected open spaces for families and their pets.
