Hoppers Crossing families now have even more opportunities to play, exercise and connect, with Wyndham City completing the second stage of the Rosslare Court Reserve upgrade.

This $471,000 upgrade has transformed the reserve into an even better space, with a large open lawn area, a half multi-sport court, outdoor fitness equipment and additional landscaping, creating a more active and welcoming community space.

The works build on the new district-level play space, picnic areas, public toilet and on-street car parking improvements delivered in 2024.

And there's more to come, with construction beginning later this year to deliver a wetland within the reserve. 

Wyndham City Mayor, Councillor Mia Shaw, said the staged upgrade had transformed Rosslare Court Reserve into a vibrant space that could be enjoyed by people of all ages.

“The best parks are the ones that become part of people's everyday lives, and these improvements will give local residents even more reasons to visit Rosslare Court Reserve,” Cr Shaw said. 

“Whether it's children enjoying the playground, friends having a game on the multi-sport court or families simply relaxing on the open lawn, these additions provide more opportunities for people to enjoy the outdoors, close to home.”

“These are the kinds of spaces that help create healthy, connected neighbourhoods and make Wyndham an even better place to live.”

This upgrade is part of Wyndham City’s ongoing investment in creating high-quality, welcoming open spaces for the community to enjoy, with improvements guided by Council’s Play Space Strategy and Open Space Strategy.
