Wyndham City is excited to announce HERE+SEEN, a powerful new exhibition at Saltwater Community Centre that celebrates the creativity, perspectives and artistic talent of visual artists with lived experience of intellectual disability and/or disabling neurodivergence.
Wyndham City is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible arts community where all artists can thrive.
The exhibition on display until 2 December is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and reflects the important role artists with disability play in shaping contemporary art and culture, while encouraging greater visibility and recognition of their contributions.
Presented by Arts Assist and Council through the Level Up Program as part of the 2026 Melbourne Fringe festival, the exhibition showcases 53 artworks by 35 neurodivergent artists, providing a platform for artists to share their perspectives, experiences and creative talents with the wider community.
HERE+SEEN is a celebration of inclusion, creativity and self-expression and showcases a diverse range of artworks while supporting artists at different stages of their creative journey.
Through exhibition opportunities, professional connections and public recognition, the Level Up program aims to build confidence, strengthen artistic practice and create pathways for future creative opportunities both within Wyndham and beyond.
Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with unique artistic perspectives and gain insight into the experiences, stories and creative visions of the participating artists.
Community members are encouraged to visit and support this inspiring exhibition.
