Wyndham Art Gallery

Located in the heart of Werribee, Wyndham Art Gallery has reopened with newly renovated and expansive spaces designed to inspire connection, reflection, and discovery. This transformation enhances the gallery’s role as a vibrant cultural hub for Melbourne’s west, offering an inviting and inclusive platform for artistic expression.

True to its foundations, Wyndham Art Gallery centres First Nations stories, presenting exhibitions that honour the deep cultural knowledge, resilience, and creativity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as a vital part of its broader program. Guided by a commitment to listening, learning, and sharing through art, the gallery delivers a dynamic program of four exhibitions annually, including the flagship Wyndham Art Prize, alongside guest-curated and in-house curated exhibitions. Together, these exhibitions explore a range of contemporary topics and critical issues, reflecting the rich diversity of the Wyndham community while amplifying underrepresented voices and fostering dialogue across cultures, generations, and disciplines.

In 2021, Wyndham Art Gallery celebrated ten years of programming with a beautifully designed publication co-published with Black Ink and a dedicated microsite by Forde + Nicol. This celebration is title DECADE 2011-2021.

Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to the west, Wyndham Art Gallery offers a dynamic, ever-evolving space where art meets place and people.
