How to navigate agendas, minutes and bookmarking
Council and Committee Meetings
Here you will find the livestream recordings, agendas and minutes for Council and delegated committee meetings.
The ‘Current Meetings’ and ‘Previous Meetings’ tabs show all current, upcoming and recent meetings.
Meetings are listed by date, starting with the most recent. After a meeting is held, it moves to the ‘Previous Meetings’ tab.
Find a meeting
- Click on the drop-down box in ‘Filter Meeting Types’ to select the meeting type you are looking for, i.e. Council Meeting, Planning Committee Meeting, Contracts Approval Committee Meeting.
- Select the meeting type you are interested in from the drop-down list. This will show all current and recent meetings for the option you have chosen.
Search results should show all meeting dates, times and venues (if they are open to the public).
Find Meeting or Committee documents
When you find the meeting you are interested in, you can access related documents such as agendas and minutes.
‘Open Meeting’ button
The ‘open’ button opens the agenda for the meeting you have selected.
You will now see all items listed on that agenda. Select an agenda item from the list on the left side of the page.
This will open a drop- down menu that will include the report, any attachments, meeting minutes and the livestream bookmarking link. You can click on each item and it will take you directly to that item.
The button will display all options for that report. To return to the agenda click on the red cross.
The timer symbol next to each item is the livestream bookmarked discussion for that item and is accessible via the Agenda tab and the Minutes tab for each agenda.
The Files tab opens the list of documents relevant to the meeting.
The Agenda tab allows you to view the contents page of the agenda referred to as Agenda.
The Packet is the full agenda comprised of each report and any attachments as one document, including footnotes.
The Minutes tab contains the Minutes of that meeting. The Unconfirmed Minutes are generally available by 5pm on the Friday of the week the meeting is held.
Register to attend a Public Council or Committee Meeting
All formal decision-making meetings of Council (Council Meetings, Planning Committee Meetings and Contract Approval Committee Meetings) are open to the public and community members are welcome to attend in person or watch online.
2026 Council Meetings
At Council Meetings, Councillors will vote on recommendations included in the reports prepared by Council officers.
2026 Planning Committee Meetings
The Planning Committee was established by Council as a delegated committee under Section 63 of the Local Government Act 2020.
Contracts Approval Committee Meetings
The Contracts Approval Committee was established by Council on 25 March 2025 as a delegated committee under Section 63 of the Local Government Act 2020.
Public Questions & Responses
Public Question Time is conducted in accordance with Rule 55 of the Governance Rules.
Petitions and Joint Letters
A petition or joint letter is a request from members of the public for information or action in relation to a particular matter.
