The 2026 “Get Psych’d” program will be provided by Wyndham City Council’s Youth Services and is available to young people that have a connection to Wyndham, under certain conditions.
The Get Psych’d program is a group program aimed at young people between the ages of 12 – 25 years, that would like to improve their mental health and wellbeing. The Get Psych’d program will consist of 4 well-being information sessions: covering topics such as anxiety management, managing low mood, improving motivation, identifying unhelpful thinking styles, identifying healthy relationships, setting healthy boundaries, learning about safe emotional expression, and identifying triggers. The aim of the program is to help young people to developing emotional regulation strategies.
If needed, a youth worker will assist you in making a referral to other support services after finishing or not wanting to continue with our service. You can choose to stop participating in the sessions at any stage throughout the program.
