Payment plans
If you are having trouble paying your outstanding rates balance in full, you may be able to go on a payment plan.
This will break down your balance into regular payments that will help you pay off your balance.

Extensions
If you need more time to pay your next rates instalment, you can apply for an extension by calling us on 1300 023 411 or emailing mail@wyndham.vic.gov.au.
Hardship consideration
If you are experiencing financial hardship and living in the property you are paying rates for, you may be eligible for hardship consideration.
We may be able to help you with:
- a waiver of penalty interest
- a waiver of legal costs
- acceptance of a payment arrangement
- a deferral of part of the rates.
We assess applications individually to create a plan for your specific situation.
