How to turn on accessibility mode

This article explains how to use accessibility mode in our online services portal.

When you turn on accessibility mode, our service portal:

  • uses a high contrast colour scheme
  • is optimised for screen readers and vision impared users
  • does not display decorative or unnecessary images.

Create an account in accessibility mode

  1. Open the online services login screen
  2. Select the 'Accessibility Mode' option below the Log On button.
  3. Click or tap on the link ‘Don’t have an account?’
  4. Select the button that appears labelled ‘Register using email.’
  5. If you are using a large screen, you will be presented with a button labelled 'Test'. This is a bug that we are working with our software vendor to fix. Click or tap on this button.
  6. Enter your details. Your password must be eight characters long and contain one uppercase letter and one number.
  7. We’ll send you an email to verify your account.
  8. Follow the instructions in your email.
  9. Sign in to your account.

Turn accessibility mode on

  1. Sign in to our online services portal, or follow the steps to create an account if you haven’t signed in before.
  2. Navigate to the Wyndham City Online Servics homepage by clicking on the Wyndham City logo.
  3. Click or tap on the accessibility icon that appears next to your name at the top of the screen.

Turn accessibility mode off

  1. Click, tap or select the button labelled 'MORE' at the top of the screen.
  2. Select the menu item labelled 'Settings'.
  3. Select the item 'Change to standard mode'.
