The Planning Committee was established by Council as a delegated committee under Section 63 of the Local Government Act 2020. The Committee assesses and determines any applications for planning permits that are referred to it as the Responsible Authority under the Planning and Environment Act 1987, including hearing from submitters. The Committee may also consider and make recommendations to Council regarding strategic planning issues.
Agendas for each meeting are generally available on Council’s website by 5pm on the Friday prior to the meeting date.
Meeting Minutes are generally available on Council’s website by 5pm on the Friday of the week of the meeting date.
