Youth Response and Mobilisation (YRM) Team provide Wyndham young people and their families with support following from an incident, life event or challenging circumstances.

YRM are here to talk through what is happening and find most appropriate support, information, and essential resources available.

YRM also work with peer groups, School, Community and Cultural groups to support, refer, and build capacity when additional support is required.

YRM Team can support young people aged 12 - 25 years, siblings, and their families by linking in with:

  • Foodbank (Halal options available)
  • Clothing (for every day and for court)
  • Care packs
  • Vouchers
  • Accessing Western Emergency Relief Network (furniture and household goods)
  • Linking in with the right people, such as programs, services or organisations that can support

YRM also support Schools, Community and Cultural groups through linking in with:

  • Programs that offer support or build skills post incident or event
  • Events that promote connection
  • Community days
  • Information sessions focused on ranges of issues for Parent/Community/Cultural groups
  • Linking in with the right people – programs, services or organisations that can support

YRM can support with linking in you, the young person, or their family with the right people, such as:

  • Sporting scholarships
  • Legal aid
  • Housing support
  • New parent support
  • Counselling
