Council is seeking to form a panel of skilled contractors with the appropriate qualifications and experience to provide ecological restoration services aimed at preserving biodiversity and managing invasive weeds across the municipality. This includes work on private properties as well as Crown Land within the Western Grassland Reserve.
Under the Council’s Land Protection Grant Scheme, contractors appointed to the panel will be requested to provide fixed price quotes on a site-by-site basis throughout the municipality for the containment and reduction of Council’s priority weeds. Additional services include revegetation, flora surveys, exclusion fencing installation, pest animal control and ecological biomass reduction activities.
The Deed of Standing Offer Panel Contract will run for an initial period of three (3) years, with the possibility of extension for up to a total of five (5) years.
