Heavy/Long Vehicles on Residential Property

Vehicles over with a GMV of 4.5 tonne or over and/or 7.5 meters in length cannot be parked on residential property in Wyndham without a permit from Council. To apply for a permit, go here.

As part of the permit process, residents in surrounding properties are notified of the application and are given the opportunity to object if they believe the vehicle would negatively affect their amenity and/or safety.

Where vehicles are parked on residential property without a permit or without complying with the conditions of their permit, enforcement action may be taken against the property or vehicle owner.
