On Sunday 22 October the families of Wyndham and beyond, gathered for a fun-filled day of entertainment at Wyndham City’s free Children’s Week Picnic at Werribee Park Mansion.
The Little Big Stage hosted a range of children’s entertainers including comedy, music and dance. The all-new H2O Arena was the place to be to see theatre-based Super Amazing Dolphin Show along with opportunities to learn about local waterways and keeping safe around water. On the Great Lawn, Polyglot Theatre’s Bees were a hive of buzzy fun!
A new craft space offered children a place to create wearable crafts and the ever-popular Active Kid’s Zone was back with a wide range of sports to try.
The event also hosted a range of exhibitors including local family-based businesses, dance schools, early learning centres and Wyndham City programs offering a range of free interactive activities.
The Children’s Week Picnic will return on Sunday 27 October 2024.
